Tour Itinerary
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fes and then start the first day of our trip towards Merzouga, one of the most famous tourist destinations in our home country. Our first stop will be in Ifrane City, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. It's an excellent place for winter sports here in Morocco, such as skiing. After leaving this place, we will proceed to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you will have the opportunity to see wild monkeys and take pictures.
We continue our journey to Midelt, the Apple Town of Morocco, so named because it is situated in the middle of an apple-growing area. After a lunch break there, we will pass by the Al Hassan Addakhil Dam, which is used for water storage for the Ziz Valley's agriculture and provides flood protection (with the possibility of taking pictures). Our next stop is at the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. The valley offers a magnificent view of palm trees (the second largest expanse of palm trees in all of Morocco) between high cliffs that date back to the Jurassic period.
We will continue our way to Merzouga/Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert, where your camels will be waiting to take you on an unforgettable adventure to your camp in the desert. There, you will have the chance to witness the magical sunset in the desert and a sky full of stars, offering a serene experience. After dinner, you will enjoy listening to traditional Berber music before going to sleep.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will leave the camp in the desert, filled with unforgettable impressions from your wonderful time there. We will start our trip towards Marrakech, passing many interesting villages and small towns like Rissani, Nkoub, and Agdz before we reach Ouarzazate, the 'Hollywood of Africa.' In Ouarzazate, we will take you to explore the most attractive places, both touristic and historical, such as the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. After that, we will have our lunch break in Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. After lunch, you will have the chance to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. We continue our way toward Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, and then drop you off at your hotel or riad.
